When Netflix called, the brief was simple:

“We want to create a portrait space backstage at the Canadian Screen Awards. 65 talent. 3-5 minutes per sitting. A 20x30 footprint. A nod to Canada without falling into beavers and hockey sticks…”

I wanted to create a space that would excite our talent, give them room to play, and give me enough variety to make every portrait feel unique. So… let’s build a vintage train. Why not right? 1930s felt right. A commuter car? A dining car? No… a parlour car.

All aboard!
